Spotting Alcoholics and people who need meds
Some music producers in the industry here in Orlando have some serious drinking problems and they drink like a fish. The music producer I fired all he did was drink like a fish, he would have a beer in his car every time he arrived, and sometimes he would sneak vodka in cranberry in his “Water bottle”. A DUI waiting to happen or killing a family on the road, I felt to guilty for hiring him all these years, and he did have a very near fatal accident during time of production once.
My cousin Big Lil from the first album I could smell vodka on his breath when he came over to try and record, and he smelt like a distillery. His mother is reckless for not putting him in a facility for all the drinking and bipolar nonsense that comes out of his mouth. He smokes weed like no tomorrow and claims it’s for his MS but in reality, he smokes like 10 joints or blunts a day and he is faded so much he can’t even own a car because he would crash it. The problem with these people in the industry is they also hold grudges or don’t forgive people like me who have had to go through rehab.
They don’t understand my bipolar or schizophrenia, and they may be bipolar or schizophrenic themselves, and it is untreated. I am looking into buying a new mic around 1,200 to 1,400 price range, because I put the mic my new producer brought side by side to the 3 grand mic that is broken or that they claim is broken and the quality difference is huge. The 3 one has crisp quality listen to 8th album trilogy of Augusto Gabe (an alias) the slowed reverb or the original. And when I upload the 7 tracks, I get you may see a difference, but I am waiting till the rest are sent.
And isn’t the point of smoking or vaping weed to stop drinking. Sociable drinking in my opinion is okay but alcoholic type drinking, daily with their livers going to waste is not okay, and I can say that now since I gave up my worst addiction cigarettes.
