I use “fair use” doctrine, I use it for criticism, commentary, and other reasons, and cite the relevant section of the copyright law (usually 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act) Have been doing so since 2013 (Music and images use Fair Use many times, sometimes I own the music etc.)
